5: SCREAM, PRETTY PEGGY with Matt Cornwall

If you just consider this 1973 thriller a Psycho take-off that came thirteen years too late, you might not love Scream, Pretty Peggy. However, if you look at it as a showcase for Bette Davis and her ability to hold a teacup in various states of distress, this one is a camp classic. Matt Cornwall joins Sam to talk Ted Bissell’s sitcom career and the mystery of how to pronounce Sian Barbara Allen’s unpronounceable name.
