53: IT HAPPENED ONE CHRISTMAS with Sarah Thyre
Sam brings 2020 to a close with a decidedly less scary selection: 1977’s IT HAPPENED ONE CHRISTMAS, which had Marlo Thomas playing the lead in a gender-flipped remake of It’s a Wonderful Life, centered on Mary Bailey as the one who needs to be shown what a difference she makes in the lives of her loved ones. Actress and comedian Sarah Thyre joins Sam in making merry and talking TV movies.
